Crooked tail
is a fault which is not considered seriously enough in our breed. Judges should always write down
when they find a knick in the tail and breeders should think twice before using crooked tail dogs
in breeding. I know two litters where the sire (two different males) has a crooked tail and
3 of 7 and 5 of 9 puppies had a crooked tail. So that is strongly inherited!
The knick in the end of the tail does not bother the dog, but if the knick is more up in the tail
it is always possible that there are some problemis in the back, too.
