Teeth failures and wrong bite

occur in the breed every now and then. Some show judges do accept the level bite, but in the breed standard it is said that the correct bite is scissor bite. The small premolar P1 is the most common missing tooth. Sometimes it can also be doubled! There are also dogs who are missing other premolars. Missing a tooth is some way inherited, but this far I haven't found any research of how strongly it is inherited.
